By downloading, installing, or using ObsidianBox Modern ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
ObsidianBox Modern is a utility application providing access to ObsidianBox command-line tools on Android. Certain features require root (superuser) access. The App is provided "as is" for technically knowledgeable users who understand the implications of root-level system utilities.
By using root features, you acknowledge that root access bypasses Android's built-in security protections, that system-level operations can modify critical system files, that improper use can render your device inoperable ("bricked"), may void your warranty, may affect official updates, and that some apps (banking, streaming) may not function on rooted devices. You are solely responsible for any actions taken using root access through this App.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, device malfunction ("bricking"), loss of profits, business interruption, or replacement costs — regardless of whether damages arise from use, misuse, or inability to use the App.
You agree to comply with applicable laws, take full responsibility for your use of root features, maintain backups before using system-modifying features, not use the App unlawfully, and not reverse engineer the App except as permitted by law.

Pro features may be offered via in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Google Play under Google's own terms; refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.
We may modify these Terms at any time; changes take effect on posting. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, without notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
