By downloading, installing, or using GreyRecon ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
GreyRecon is a network reconnaissance and diagnostics toolkit: WiFi device discovery, port scanning, a subnet calculator, DNS lookups, and optional integrations with third-party services (Shodan, an AI provider, the NVD database) using API keys you supply yourself.
Only scan, probe, or query networks and devices you own or have explicit permission to test. Unauthorized scanning of networks belonging to others may violate the law in your jurisdiction (e.g. computer-misuse or unauthorized-access statutes). You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the App is lawful and authorized.
Optional features (Shodan, AI providers, NVD) send requests directly from your device to those providers using API keys you provide. Your use of those providers is governed by their own terms — GreyRecon has no visibility into or control over that relationship, and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or costs incurred (including any provider rate limits or billing on keys you supply).
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. Scan results, vulnerability lookups, and AI-generated analysis may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be relied upon as your sole security assessment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including reliance on scan or vulnerability data, or any action taken against a network you were not authorized to test.
GreyRecon Pro is a one-time unlock processed by Google Play Billing under Google's own terms; refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.
GreyRecon and its branding are the property of their developer. Bundled open-source CLI tools remain under their own respective licenses.
These Terms may be updated at any time; changes take effect on posting. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
